Columnar apparatus are designed for mass exchange during absorption, desorption, fractionation and etherification of acid and weakly alkaline chemically aggressive media. The following columns are produced:
– empty (hollow)
– bubble-cap plate-type
Maximum column height reaches 20000 mm (depending on the diameter), inside column diameter: 300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2400, 2600, 2800 and 3000 mm.
Max. working pressure: 0.4 МPа. Maximum working temperature:
250°С – for acid media with synthetic composition-saturated graphite’s;
250°С – for alkali media with difurylglyoxal synthetic item-saturated graphite’s.
It is possible to agree upon temperature, pressure and other parameters for each particular order. The columns have a dismountable and a monolithic design. When the design is dismountable a column consists of separate shells which are connected together by means of gaskets, using bandages and steel rods. The shells are equipped with devices for inputting/outputting working components as well as for connecting. Supports are provided inside the shells for packing, spraying devices, plates and plates with caps. For monolithic columns their graphite components are connected together into a structure using putty pasting.
CJSC ROSGRAFIT Group has a large base of produced standard sizes of columnar apparatus for which drawings are available. The apparatus configuration may be modified according to the customer’s requirements. Depending on the particular process specifics CJSC ROSGRAFIT Group specialists can develop special designs for columnar apparatus.
